Driftwood.....

I love to think of places I have explored this year and many of them are on the beach. I have found really neat driftwood....it is weathered by the incoming and out going surf, and by the temperamental storms that take place at sea....driftwood is like me.

Botanical Gardens......

Living in the Seattle area, has allowed me to experience so much. One of my favorite things to do is go exploring the Botanical Gardens (near the ship canal). The Botanical Gardens "World" tour is amazing.....

A Very Powerful Dam.......

The Grand Coulee Dam is in Washington State, U.S.A. I will never forget the power that this dam has, build by hard work and the quest to provide an opportunity for jobs during a time when people couldn't find work. Unfortunately, History does repeat itself. "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them." -Thomas Jefferson

A Voyage.......

The big ships come into Lake Washington-ship canal near Seattle and then some come to dock in Seattle....a voyage that only I wish to dream upon.

When visiting the Olympic Peninsula you will find a town called Sequim, Washington,(U.S.A.) here you will find a place that is filled with the scent of french Lavender and rolling hills of purple...a sea of Lavender.

My Earthly Father.....

The day that my earthly father visited, was the day I realized the value of forgiveness. We live many miles apart, so many memories have past between us, sometimes painful, and some happy to share, but the forgiveness came...when my earthly father came to visit me.
