Nothing can save us from a perpetual headlong fall into a bottomless abyss but a solid footing of dogma; and we no sooner agree to that than we find that the only trustworthy dogma is that there is no dogma.

"In order to find peace, first you must look within yourself, and not in others."

What beauty!
ReplyDeleteHello Elizabeth. The beautiful colours in stained glass come from impurities in the make up of the glass. Likewise, our souls seem to be coloured by our impurities and like the glass we cannot remove the impurities, it is beyond our ability but we can allow the light of God's love to shine through and in so doing also become beautiful works of art.
ReplyDeleteMagnificent stain glass photography! Loved your words as well. Thanks!
